Absentee Voting

  • In-Person—Voters who will be out-of town on Election Day may vote on the voting machine located at the Fayette County Clerk’s Office starting on Tuesday, October 5 and ending on November 2, 2015.  Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM.

  • Absentee Ballot– To apply for an absentee ballot a voter (or immediate relative) may contact the Fayette County Clerk’s Office and request an Absentee Ballot Application.  Once the Application is completed by the voter, it must be mailed to the Clerk’s Office no later than close of business on October 27, 2015.  The Clerk’s Office will then mail an Absentee Ballot to the Voter.

All Absentee Ballots must arrive by mail at the Fayette County Clerk’s office before 6:00 PM on November 3, 2015. Absentee ballots received after that time will not be counted.
